30 days, no questions required

If Sealshot isn't right for you, email support@seal-shot.com within 30 days of buying and we'll refund it in full.

Try it before you pay

Sealshot is free to use, with every feature unlocked and no account required. Most reasons for a refund are things using it would have shown you first, so we'd rather you did — and if you bought on day one, that's still no obstacle to a refund.

How it works

Purchases are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, so the refund is processed by them and returns to the card you paid with. Email us, or reply to your Polar receipt — either reaches us. It usually completes within a few business days, depending on your bank.

You don't have to give a reason. If something specific didn't work we'd genuinely like to hear it, because that's how the app gets better — but it's never a condition.

After a refund

Nothing, mechanically: donations don't come with license keys, so there is nothing to revoke. Nothing you captured is deleted or locked and every feature keeps working — we'd only ask that you untick "I've donated" in Settings ▸ Support, on the same honor system the checkbox works by.

Licenses bought before Sealshot became donation-supported are the one exception: refunding one revokes it, via a small public list that Sealshot downloads and checks on your Mac. Your license ID is never sent anywhere — see the privacy policy.
